They spat on him but he would say, this would not prohibit me to love you more. They put a crown of thorns on his head, it was very painful, the blood crushed from the hard thorns; but He used to repeat, put more than one crown of thorn on my head and I will love your more. They hit Him, they whipped Him, they mocked Him; but he felt more and more that his love was not shaken; He looked to them with pity and said, I forgive you, and I love you. They nailed his hands and feet on the cross; but He kept repeating, even if you nail every figure of my hands and feet, I will not cease to love you more and more. We put Him on cross, His suffering was tremendous but the love for us was without any limit. His eyes were the same, looks of love and attachment to poor humanity. His cry of love took pity of the thief who asked to enter the Kingdom of love as this thief discovered the candid attitude, the deepness, the patience and the forgiveness in the eyes of the One nailed at his left: “Today you will be with Me in paradise.”  Luke 23:43

“For so he loved the world” John 3:16 and He forgave us before we killed Him. Do you understand with me the love of God for us?

Look at yourself and find out how you start to get angry and swear for the least word or hurt; find out how you try to get vengeance and assure yourself that you did the most of it. Do you understand how man does not know how to love? Do you understand why Jesus asked us to love each other as He loved us? Do you understand the meaning of “Love your enemies” as he did love? And would you understand one day the meaning of "Forgive us our sins as we forgive” as in reality we do not forgive?

Strange is the love of God, and strange is also our way to love> Great is God and miserable is man> Do you see what cowards are we humans? I feel I want ask for forgiveness, do you feel the same now? Return to yourself and forgive the one that you did not want to forgive for a long time. Love as God has loved so as to shine and be worthy of your Christian name that we do not deserve to have. Follow the example of the saints and ask for their prayers so they may help you to live a holy and truthful life as they did. Hurry up to the one whom you did not know how to love, and love him as God loves, give him, God will give you; forget any resentment, award with good deed who wronged you so as to deserve to be the Son of God who sends his sun to the good and the bad.

Nobody can change you and make you better than yourself; so decide now to have a new life and be a new person.
