Today I was shocked to hear that a friend of
mine was forbidden from  passing through the
Bethlehem check point to go  to Jerusalem. You
may  ask why? Every day you one will find these
illegal check points full of  Palestinian men and
women stopped by the  Israeli soldiers and not
allowed to pass.
 
I will tell you who my friend is.  Her name is
Isabelle and she is a BRITISH  CITIZEN.. Despite
her  INTERNATIONAL STATUS,
she was told that she can't go to Jerusalem. She
replied, "Do I look  like a terrorist to you?"
Imagine yourself in her position.
 
Please, understand that the control Israeli
soldiers are exerting in our areas means they no
longer distinguish between Palestinians or
international visitors. They will do all they
can to achieve their goal  of controlling our
areas and our people. The  oppression is
increasing  yet the world seems to be ignorant.
Please, understand that this
continued oppression does nothing to help us find
peace and justice.
