Dear Labib:

How about suggesting that instead of giving presents (especially to adults) that people make contributions to one of the Palestinian hospitals - Augusta Victoria, AL Ahlia in Gaza, etc.  In those two cases the money can be sent to addresses in the United States and then forwarded.
