CITIZENS OF ISRAEL SAY NO TO ISRAELI ATTACKS ON BEIT
JALA AND BETHLEHEM AREA

We citizens of Israel, declare in full force that we oppose the Israeli
governmentís brutal military attacks on the Palestinian residents of Beit Jala,
Bethlehem, Beir Ona towns and  Aida and Aza refugee camps.   The source
of all this violence is the Israeli occupation and its settlements, which must be
dismantled immediately.  Until Palestinian refugees attain their right of return,
until equality is granted to every resident of this area, until the Israeli army
ceases its aggression and the Israeli
government ends its apartheid policies against Palestinians, there cannot be
peace in our midsts.

We stand today with the Palestinian  people in full solidarity with their right to
self-determination and resistance against the Israeli military occupation. This
is a struggle for dignity and liberation which every person seeking justice must
support.  We have come today to spread the message to the Palestinian
people and the world community that not all Israeli citizens support the
criminal policy of the Israeli government and that there are those who say
NO to Israeli aggression.

A MESSAGE FROM ISRAELI CITIZENS TO GILO RESIDENTS

To our fellow citizens in Gilo: The government has deceived you.  It
promised
you tranquility and serenity, villas and yards for your children to play in, but it

didnít tell you the truth. Your homes stand on stolen land and the rightful
owners have and will never concede to this theft.  You must understand that
you will never find such tranquility and serenity within the current framework
of apartheid - where you live in beautiful apartments and  villas and the
original residents of the area live 500 meters away under the most difficult
conditions and almost without any rights.

You have and always will be pawns of the Israeli government.  Look over
the sandbags in your windows and see  how your homes  and neighborhoods
are just fronts for the IDF strategic interests - to maintain military bases and
lookouts over Palestinians towns and cities.   The only way to end this
stalemate is by demanding from the Israeli government to dismantle the
apartheid and grant full rights for the Palestinian people- first and foremost
the right to return and live on the land which was taken from them by force.

* End the Occupation!
* Dismantle Settlements Now!
* Right of Return for All Palestinian Refugees!
* Equality for All!
