From Latin Patriarche Pess office

On Sunday, September 28th, His Beatitude the Patriarch wanted to visit our parish in Jenin at the north of the West Bank, where he wanted to celebrate mass and meet the local inhabitants, but unfortunately he was not allowed by the Israeli army to enter Jenin since a curfew was imposed on it. Therefore he returned to Mount Tabor where he celebrated mass, and in the afternoon he visited our small community in the nearby village of Muqebleh where almost 30 Christian families live. It should be known that the Latin Patriarchate is building now a new church in this village for this community because before the current situation they used to come to nearby Jenin (5 Kms) which now they cannot enter since they are inside the green line (Inside Israel).
