Dear Friends:
Thank you for your support of the Christmas TREE for Justice and Peace in Palestine. Please find the idea of it on http://www.al-bushra.org/hedchrch/tree.htm
To make it feasible and EDUCATIVE to the Public Opinion. We in San Francisco beside that people will do it at their homes and outside, we decided to do something that you could work it also in your cities or town. You have enough time to plan for it. Pleaswe help us to bring Justice to the land of CHRISTMAS.
We in San Francisco we expect to have more than 2000 people for this event. It may become an Important event that we will repeat every year.
We will be chanting Christmas Carols at UNION SQUARE in front of an Important Mall and on a main street, Market Street in down Town San Francisco on Dec. 16th and 17th. (Two nights)
How we will be doing it (this will give you an idea to do it at your place).
1) We are preparing our Children to sing the Christmas Carols (School, Churches will participate)
2) They will dress on Palestinian Customs
3) A MC will announce that these songs and others will be dedicated for example to the People in Bethlehem who will not celebrate Christmas because of the Israeli Occupation and the many children that Israeli tanks, helicopters have killed; for Muhammad Al-Durra a Moslem Palestinian who was killed with cold blood, this child could celebrate Christmas with his Palestinian Christian brothers and sisters if he was not killed...
4) Santa Claus (three to four) will be distributing candies and with a message on them: End the Israeli Occupation of Palestine, Israel should implement the UN Resolutions...(work your messages) They will distribute paper colored stars, angels, candles, Christmas scenes that people can put on their Christmas TREE with a message written on them: Let the Palestinians celebrate Christmas in Justice and Peace, give Palestinians their rights after 32 years of Occupation to have their own country..(Work your messages)
5) Some of our children will be distributing flyers, banners, messages, copies of statement from different Churches and Human Right organizations that speak for justice to the Palestinian, Israelis, to Jews, Christians and Muslims
6) At the end with all will be holding candles and we will chant: Silent Night Holy Night.
I know that a lot of you want to help us to EDUCATE the American Public opinion on this
