As part of the year 2000 celebrations (Great Jubilee in the Holy Land), youth from around the world are invited to discover Bethlehem, past and present, with its faith, history, culture and people. The Bethlehem 2000 Project together with BETHELEHEM UNIVERISTY, LUTHERAN SCHOOL OF TALITA KUMI, JERUSALEM2000 Website, AL-BUSHRA WEBSITE and Guiding Star Ltd are hosting the First International Youth Gathering in Bethlehem that could become an ANNUAL EVENT.

The aim is to bring together College and University aged Youth for a Gathering dedicated to discovery and renewal. While all participants will have a chance to visit the major sites of the Holy Land, the Gathering offers much more than a tour. It seeks to give each person an inner journey of spiritual discovery, of sharing and learning with the Palestinian youth of the Holy Land. A comprehensive program of activities is being prepared.
