Symposium Of The Catholic Bishops's Conference
On Jerusalem
October 26-27 October 1998
Attended by four cardinals (among whom Cal.
Furno, Prefect of the Sacred Oriental Congregation and Cal. LAW of the
U.S.) and by other 20 Archbishops and Bishops, the SYMPOSIUM was an initiative
of the Holy See and of Patriarch Michel Sabbah in order to deepen the awareness
of the Catholic Bishops' Conferences all over the world about the Jerusalem
question.
The Vatican reiterated its stand in conformance
with the International Community and the UN Resolutions that East-Arab
Jerusalem is Illigally Occupied by Israeli forces in 1967.
