AL-Raja “Hope” Workshop for religious works and embroidery.

1. Objectives:

Making uniforms for the priests, requirements of the church, embroideries and selling souvenirs and religious books and statues.

2. People in charge:

The priests and the nuns. Ten people work in the workshop in addition to six families of various nationalities Jordanian, Palestinian, Cuban, Iraqi, Romanian and Russian who participate through works they make at home. They are all poor families who need financial supports so as to live decently and comfortably.

3. Balance:

Salaries are paid through the returns of the workshop and the surplus – if there is – is distributed to some poor families in ZARKA (40 families) by the chief nun. Our financial support includes cash money, buying books for university students and paying their children’s school fees.

The workshop needs maintenance (painting and new tables). The shop needs decoration, equipment and painting so as to carry on its role perfectly through selling religious books, souvenirs and statues.
